SUCCESSFULLY DEMONSTRATED SKILLS OF BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU At the Third Open Nis in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) "Niš Open 2015", which took place last weekend, under the auspices of Palilula Municipality, and was held in the Sports hall of Primary school "Miroslav Antic" in Niš, was attended by about 200 participants from Serbia, Macedonia and Bulgaria . In the team competition was the most successful LUTADOR ZENITH SERBIA, second place went to THE STRONGES & ROOTS BJJ and grappling third RIO CLUB SERBIA. The organizer of this international championship, "Rio Grappling Club", which works in the Palilula territory, successfully organized the third meeting in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition. At the opening, the participants and organizers of the competition,were welcomed by Džunić Boban, president of the Nis Palilula Municipality, wishing them a safe and successful fight demonstration of skills. President of Džunić on this occasion organizer handed the plaque. "We supported the organization of the Open Championship in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, because this sport is very popular in our country and has competitors-fighters who are recognized in the world. SPORT and development of physical culture has an important place in our strategic activities. We have implemented and achieve more international projects supported by the European Union, which have enabled us to build infrastructure facilities-courts, halls, to get sports equipment and props contributed to the popularization of sports and recreational activities. Observing the needs of its citizens and successful cooperation with numerous organizations, educational institutions, associations and clubs-said the president of Palilula. "Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a modern martial art that has become very popular in the world. The first world championship in the sport was held in 1996, and in Serbia is this skill was brought by Jovan Žeralj, one of the pioneers of the sport in Europe - said the organizer of the championships and the martial arts coach Aleksandar Stojičić. It is expected that in the next few years, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, in both their discipline "gi and no gi", is nominated for an Olympic sport. This sport was recognized by world wrestling federation FILA, under whose auspices big events are organized.
